The Pikes Peak Regional Airshow, held at Colorado Springs Airport (COS) from August 17-18, was a spectacular showcase of aviation excellence, with jetCenters of Colorado playing a pivotal role as the preferred FBO partner. From fueling to catering and entertainment, our team was at the heart of the event, ensuring its success for the 30,000+ attendees, more than 70% of whom traveled from outside the Colorado Springs area to witness the thrilling performances.
With over 120,000 gallons of Jet A and 4,000 gallons of Avgas supplied, jetCenters of Colorado fueled all the aircraft involved, keeping the skies alive with excitement. We were especially proud to support the iconic Blue Angels, featuring their first-ever female pilot, and legendary airshow entertainer Kyle Franklin, known for his heart-pounding wing-walking, aerobatics, and comedic acts. Our COS facility also housed the impressive EA-18G Growlers and provided first-class catering and entertainment for the F-22 pilots and their families to ensure their comfort throughout the event.
Beyond our operational support, we also made sure spectators had a memorable experience, hosting a jetCenters of Colorado tent with exciting giveaways for attendees. As we continue to support major aviation events like the Pikes Peak Regional Airshow, jetCenters of Colorado remains committed to delivering exceptional service to both the aviation community and its enthusiasts.
Stay tuned for more updates from jetCenters as we continue to fuel the passion for flight and bring people together through the wonders of aviation.
