Line Service Manager

 Job Description: The position of Line Service Manager is a technical position which entails managing day-to-day operations of the Line Service Department

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Managing aircraft refueling operations
  • Aircraft towing operations (maintaining tow limits and safe movement of all aircraft)
  • Lavatory, oxygen and potable water service and aircraft marshaling,
  • Aircraft De-icing, GPU and managing charter aircraft.
  • Planning weekly schedules for all line service technicians as well as the Charter Schedules
  • Ensure employees follow all safety guidelines established by the Company
  • Monitor all activities of your crew and maintain a productive crew at all times
  • Coordinate employee training with Line Training Supervisor for all LST’s
  • Must be knowledgeable in Hangar and Ramp stacking procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain and receive all fuel inventory as needed (monitored daily)
  • Monitor the Cleanliness of Equipment and Work Areas
  • Document employee issues and participate in the write up process with General Manager.
  • Document any repairs needed to equipment and coordinate with the General Manager
  • Maintain landscaping of front entrance to the jetCenter utilizing line personnel for upkeep
  • Complete various tasks as directed by the General Manager
  • Complete monthly inventory

Requirements:  Candidate needs to be a self-starter with a positive and professional attitude towards employees and customer. Candidates should be highly organized with good computer skills (Word, Outlook, and Excel); 1-3 years’ experience or education equivalent. Previous supervisory experience and/or bachelor’s degree a plus.

Organization Relationship: Reports to the VP/GM
